Recently Government of India had increased the dearness allowance (DA) & Dearmess Relief (DR) of Central Government employees. This increase will take effect from January Month.

Current Dearness Allowance (DA) of Central Government hiked to 46% w.e.f. July 2023

The employees / pensioners will be given 46% DA / DR from 01 July 2023 onwards. This will benefit 47.58 lakh Central Govt. employees as it will increase their total salary. It is also a great news for 69.76 lakh pensioners as now they will get more money. Arrears will be given to employees since it is effective from July 2023.
