Chaudhary Charan Singh University (CCSU), Meerut was established in 1966 and it celebrated its silver jubilee in 1991. PG level courses were introduced in 1973. The university also has a separate Engineering College Offering B.Tech. in various branches.

CCSU was established in 1965. It was formerly Known as Meerut University. It is a public university located in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh.
