Indo-Tibetian Border Police Force (ITBP), Ministry of Home Affairs has released an advertisement for the recruitment of 458 Constable (Driver). These vacancies are of Group ‘C’ Non Gazetted (Non Ministerial) and on temporary basis likely to be permanent. Eligible male Indian Citizens can apply online from 27 June to 26 July 2023. ITBPF is a specialized mountain Force and most of the officers & men are professionally trained mountaineers and skiers. Being the first responder for natural disaster in the Himalayas, ITBPF has been carrying out numerous rescue and relief operations. ITBPF was raised on 24 Oct,1962.
Presently ITBP is deployed on border guarding duties from Karakoram Pass in Ladakh to Jachep La in Arunachal Pradesh covering 3488 km of Indo-China Border and manning Border Outposts on altitudes raging from 9000’ to 18700’ in the Western,Middle and Eastern Sector of the Indo-China Border.

Eligibility criteria of ITBP Constable (Driver) Recruitment 2023
Age Limit: Candidate’s age should be between 21-27 years as on 26 July 2023 (Candidate should not have born earlier than 27 July 1996 and not later than 26 July 2002).
Upper Age relaxation is applicable as per Govt rules (OBC: 3 years, SC/ST: 5 years, Check more details in advt at link below).
Educational Qualification: Candidates should have passed in Matriculation or 10th Class. It should be from a recognized board/ Institution or equivalent. Also the aspirant need to have a Valid driving license for Heavy vehicles.
Selection Process: Selection on these posts will be made on the basis of following three phases.
Application Fee: General and OBC category candidates has to pay a non-refundable fee of Rs. 100/- through online mode only. Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Ex-Servicemen are exempted.
