Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has released advertisment No. 11-Exam/2023 through which it has invited online application forms for 284 posts of Nakshanavis (Irrigation and Water resources Department) and Manchitrak (Agriculture). Online form can be filled by PET-2022 Indian Citizens who fulfills the eligibility criteria, up to 08 January 2024 through online mode at upsssc.gov.in official website.

Only those candidates who has appeared for Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET-2022) and received a valid score card, can apply for these posts main exam.
Vacancy Details:
Total No. of Posts: 283
Post-wise vacancies:
- Nakshanavis: 172 (General Selection) + 78 (Special Selection) = 250 (UR: 86, OBC: 29, EWS: 17, SC: 112, ST: 4)
- Manchitrak: 33 (UR: 16, OBC: 6, EWS: 3, SC: 6, ST: 2)

- Unreserved: 102
- SC: 120
- ST: 06
- OBC: 35
- EWS: 20
Eligibility criteria of Manchitrak and Nakshanavis:
Candidate should be Indian Citizen who has qualified UPSSSC PET-2022 and have valid score card.
Age limit:
For Unreserved:
- Nakshanavis: Candidate’s age should be not below 21 years and not above 40 years years for unreserved.
- Manchitrak: not below 18 years and not above 40 years
Upper Age relaxation is applicable for reserved category as per Uttar Pradesh Govt rules.
Educational Qualification:
Candidate should have certificate in related trade from recognized institute (Roorkeey University / BHU / UPBTE / AMU / Govt Art Mahavidyalaya Lucknow or certificate from Indian Labour Ministry) or 3 years Civil Engineering Diploma from UPBTE or equivalent board.

Application fee:
- Rs. 25 is to be paid by for all categories.
Fee payment can be done through Net Banking/Debit Card/ Credit Card / UPI.
Selection Process:
Candidates will be shortlisted for Main exam. 15 times the vacancies i.e. around 4245 candidates will be called to appear based on their category, cut off, percentile.
