Here is the revised syllabus of UP Polytechnic 1st 2nd 3rd year annual and Semester wise for all branches and courses 2023-24, 2022-23, 2021-22, 2020-21, 2019-20, 2018-19 etc.
BTEUP was established in May 1958 and it conducted its first examination in 1960. Later in 1962, it was renamed to Board of Technical Education. In 1962, it conducted exams for 2500 students of Civil, Electrical and Mechanical Engineering at 25 different Centers/Institutions. Now about 250000 students of 60 disciplines are studying in various affiliated institutions of the board.
The functions for the board includes examining and approves syllabus developed by IRDT and prescribe the syllabus to the affiliated institutions. Other functions of the board includes affiliating institutions, prescribing courses, building and equipment, staff qualifications, process of admission etc. Also BTEUP has to conduct written exam of all the colleges students as per date sheet prepared by them. They declare their results and award diploma certificates to students.
