SSC CGL Eligibility criteria Post-wise

Many candidates wants to know what will be the eligibility criteria for all posts in SSC CGL. Here you can check these details.
Name of Posts : Assistant, SI in CBI, Inspector
of Posts/ Divisional Accountant, Inspector (Central Excise, Preventive Officer,
Examiner), Inspector of Income Tax/ AEO in DoE, Statistical Investigator, Auditor/
Accountant/ Junior Accountant, Tax Assistant/ UDC
Note: There are also some physical Standards for all the posts which will be posted soon.
Age limit:
For Assistant Posts: 20-27 Years.
For SI in CBI : 20-25 Years.

For below posts, Age limit- 18 Years to 27 Years

1. Inspector (Central Excise, Preventive Officer, Examiner

2. Inspector of Income Tax/ AEO in DoE

3. Inspector of Posts/ Divisional Accountant

4. Auditor/ Accountant/ Junior Accountant

5. Tax Assistant/ UDC

6. Statistical Investigator

Age relaxations:
3 year for OBC candidates
5 years for SC/ ST category
candidates.
Educational Qualification:
For Assistant Posts, SI in CBI, Inspector (Preventive
Officer, Central Excise, Examiner, Income Tax/ AEO in DoE) Posts, Divisional
Accountant, Auditor/ Accountant/ Junior Accountant Posts, Tax Assistant/ UDC
Posts
For above posts, educational qualifications eligibility: Bachelor
Degree from any recognized University.
Computer Proficiency has also
been prescribed as an Essential Qualification for the posts of Assistants (CSS)
For Compiler Posts: the eligibility for Compiler Posts is
Bachelor Degree from any recognized University with Economics or Statistics or
Mathematics as compulsory or Elective subject.
For Statistical Investigator Posts: the eligibility for
Compiler Posts is that the candidates must possess Bachelor’s Degree with
Statistics as one of the main subjects or Bachelor Degree with Mathematics with
Statistics as papers studied in 1/2/3 years as the case may be as one of the
main subjects or Bachelor Degree with Economics ( with Statistics as a paper 1/2/3
years as the case may be) as one of the main subjects or Bachelor Degree with
Commerce (with Statistics as a paper studied in 1/2/3 years as the case may be)
as one of the main subjects.
Eligibility criteria for distance education candidates:
As per Notification, The Degree obtained through open Universities/Distance Education
Mode needs to be recognized by Distance Education Council, IGNOU. So Graduates from Distance Educational University recognized by Distance Education Council, IGNOU are eligible for SSC CGL.
Eligibility criteria of final year/ semester of Graduation:
Candidates who have not completed their graduation before last date can’t apply for this exam. The candidates who have not
completed Bachelor Degree can however still apply for SSC CGL to check the
type of exam for future preparation but they will be rejected at document
verification stage.
