India Post GDS Result 2022 Merit list Declared

India post had invited applications for various posts of Gramin Dak Sevak (GDS) in various circles including Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Madhya pradesh (MP), Haryana, Rajasthan, Gujarat etc. Many number of candidates applied for this bharti.

Candidates have to be 10th pass from a recognized board. There is no weightage for higher qualifications. Go through the info given here.

List of Shortlisted candidates for Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Delhi, Gujarat, Jammu & kashmir, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Tamilnadu, Telangana, Uttar Pradesh & West Bengal circles Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, North East, Odisha, Assam and Uttarakhand has been declared.

The selection of candidates for these posts is to be done through an automated merit list. The merit list will be made automatically based on the candidates online submitted applications. The marks
obtained in 10th standard of approved Boards will be the criteria for finalizing the selection. The marks will be aggregated to percentage to the accuracy of 4 decimals. Higher educational qualification will not be given any extra marks. Those who have higher marks in their 10th / Metric class will be placed higher in merit.

Each merit list will be uploaded at indiapostgdsonline.gov.in website. Candidates have to download the list and check their name, registration number to find out their qualifying status. GDS merit list have details like Division, HO Name, SO name, BO Name, Post Name, Category, Registration number and selected candidate name and marks percentage.
