Eligibility criteria:
Age limit:
Candidate’s age should be between 18-30 years as on 01.07.2024
Age Relaxations:
- SC/ST candidates: 5 Years
- OBC-Non Creamy Layer candidates 3 Years

Candidate should be physically fit fulfilling all medical & Visual standards.
Educational qualification:
10th class / Matriculation / SSLC
and
ITI from NCVT/SCVT in Trades of Fitter / Electrician / Mechanic / turner / machinist etc. (see notification for all details) OR Course completed Act Apprentice OR 3 year Diploma or Degree in Electrical / Mechanical / Electronics / Automobile engineering.
Application Fee:
For all candidates except the fee concession categories: Rs.500/- (Rs. 400 shall be refunded if candidate appears in 1st CBT.)
For Candidates belonging to SC / ST / Ex-Serviceman / PWDs / Female / Transgender / Minorities / EBC: Rs. 250/- (This full fee shall be refunded if candidate appears in 1st CBT.)
Bank charges will be debited during refund. Fee can be paid online through debit or credit cards, UPI, Internet banking.
Selection process:
Two Stage Computer Based Test, Aptitude test & Document verification and Medical Examination.
Important dates of RRB ALP Recruitment 2024:
- Online Registration & Application Submission commences: 20 January 2024
- Last date of Online application and fee: 19 February 2024 at 23.59 hrs.
- Last Date for correction in application: 20 to 29 February 2024
- 1st Stage CBT Exam date: To be declared
Important points before submitting RRB ALP Online form 2024:
- Please note that candidates who are waiting for final result of these qualifications cannot apply for these posts.
- A candidate can apply for only one RRB
- Only one application per candidate will be accepted.
- Candidate must have their own active mobile number and email ID during whole recruitment process. All communication i.e. SMS, Email will be done through them.
- Candidate should read detailed notification available at direct link below in both Hindi and English languages before applying online for RRB ALP Recruitment 2024.
- Candidates can edit their details submitted in the application form during the correction period but Mobile number, Email ID and choosen RRB cannot be changed.
