- Starting date of Online form: 22 January 2024
- Last date of registration: 21 February 2024
- Last date to make fee payment: 23 February 2024 up to midnight
- Closing date of uploading photo and Signature and taking prinout of application form: 25 February 2024 up to midnight
- Correction in online form for any mistake (except Name, date of birth, email and mobile no.): from 26-28 February 2024
Eligibility Criteria of Jharkhand Constable Competitive Examination (JCCE) 2024:
Age limit as on 01.08.2023:
- 18-25 years for General / EWS Male
- 18-27 years for BC/EBC Male
- 18-28 years for Female of General, OBC, EWS
- 18-30 years for SC & ST category (Male & Female)
Educational Qualifications:
Candidate should have passed 10th class from recognized school.
Physical requirements (minimum):
Height:
- UR, EWS, BC & EBC: 160 cm
- SC/ST: 155 cm
- All Female: 148 cm
Chest:
- UR, EWS, BC & EBC: 81 cm
- SC/ST: 79 cm
- Female: not applicable
Selection Process of Jharkhand Police Constable Recruitment 2024:
There are 3 stages of selection.
- Physical Test (Measurement & Efficiency tests i.e. PET & PMT)
- Medical Examination
- Written examination
Race in PET:
- Male: 10 km in 60 minutes
- Female: 5km in 30 minutes
Candidates will be checked for various diseases in Medical test i.e. Night blindness, Hearing, Stammering, Bericocele/ Hydrocele/ Piles / Any Communicable Physical/ Mental disease, Color blindness, Flat feet etc. in medical test.
Exam Pattern and Syllabus
There will be two papers of 2 hours each in Written test.
Paper 1:
It will have 100 objective questions from knowledge of regional language. Candidate need to obtain minimum 30% marks in this paper.
Paper 2:
- Total questions: 100
- Total marks: 300
- Exam time: 2 hours
- Negative marks for wrong answer: 1 mark
These 100 questions will be asked from following:
- 50 questions from Hindi
- 25 questions from General Knowledge
- 25 questions from Numerical ability

Application Fee:
Candidates need to pay following non-refundable fee to complete their application.
- General/OBC/EWS categories: Rs. 100/-
- ST/ST candidates of Jharkhand: Rs. 50/-
Jharkhand Constable Salary / Pay Scale:
Selected candidates will be paid salary as per Jharkhand Pay Matrix Level 3: Rs. 21700-69100. The starting basic pay will be Rs. 21700 per month. Various allowances like DA, HRA etc. will be paid on the basis of this basic pay and gets added to it to make total salary.
