Haryana JBT Teacher Salary 2024 Pay Scale
Newly joining candidate is placed in Functional Pay Level FPL – 6 which is Rs. 35400-112400 Pre-Revised 9300- 34800 with Grade pay Rs. 4200.
Rs. 35400 is the starting basic pay given to candidate upon new appointment to the post. All allowances like Dearness allowance, House Rent Allowance etc. are calculated by the basic pay and the resulting amount is added to the basic pay to come at total salary.
After adding all allowances to the basic pay, Haryana PRT Teacher Total Salary comes around Rs. 53000-59000.
This is the total salary from which various deductions like NPS + taxes are done. Then after reducing the deductions, the net starting salary of Primary Teacher in Haryana comes around Rs. 47800-53800. It depends on place of posting where higher or lower percentage of allowance is given.

This is just the starting salary. The salary keeps on increasing every six months since Dearness allowance is revised / increased every six months. Then increments are given yearly. As far as the posting of candidate is concerned, candidate can be posted nearby or far areas. Posting is done in districts of Haryana government. However posting can also be given in home district.

- Current Dearness allowance: 46% of basic pay from July 2023
- House Rent Allowance in Haryana: 16% for Chandigarh Panchkula Gurugram & Faridabad, 8% for rest districts.
