The admit card for written test will neither be sent by post nor by email. They are downloadable from JMRC website jmrcrecruitment.in. Candidates will only be admitted to the exam hall if they possess admit card and a valid photo id proof.
Important dates:
- CBT Exam date for Maintainer (Refrigeration and AC, Electronics, Fitter), Junior Engineer (Civil, Electronics, Electrical): 05 February 2021
- Admit card release date: 21 January 2021
- Exam date for CRA and Maintainer (Electrician): 11 June 2022
Exam Pattern: Computer Based Test is to be held for all posts. For All posts, selection consist of CBT and Medical exam. There will be interview & Psychometric test also only for SC/TO posts.
Written exam is of 100 marks for all posts. 100 questions will be asked which are to be answered in 2 hours time. Negative marks are 0.25 for each wrong answer.
JE (Civil, Electrical, Electronics) Exam Pattern:
Stage I: The exam of 100 marks will have 100 questions with 120 minutes time. Questions will be asked from :
i. Domain / Trade related – 50 questions
ii. General Knowledge & Awareness: 10 questions
iii. General Science: 10 questions
iv. Math: 10 questions
v. Logical Reasoning: 5 questions
vi. Computer Awareness – 5 questions
vii. English – 5 questions
viii. Hindi – 5 questions
Stage 2: Medical Fitness Test (Qualifying)
Maintainer Exam: There will be 100 questions carrying 100 marks with 120 minutes time.
i. Domain / Trade related – 55 questions
ii. General Knowledge & Awareness: 10 questions
iii. General Science: 10 questions
iv. Quantitative Aptitude: 10 questions
v. Logical Reasoning: 5 questions
vi. Computer Awareness – 5 questions
vii. English – 5 questions
viii. Hindi – 5 questions
