Central Selection Board of Constables (CSBC) has advertised for 21391 Constable posts to be filled in Bihar Police and other units. Bihar Police Constable Salary 2024 per month & Pay Scale details
- Pay Scale: 21700-69100
- Starting basic pay for new appointments : Rs. 21700/-
- Starting Total Salary: Around 34000-39000 per month
- Deductions in starting basic pay: Rs. 3200/-
- Net Starting Salary: Rs. 30200-35800 per month depending on place of posting.
Allowances Rates:
- Dearness Allowance: 42% of basic pay
- HRA: 8% to 16%
- Other allowances as applicable.

Various allowances are included in Bihar Police Constable Salary 2024 i.e. DA, HRA etc.. After adding all allowances, Total Salary in starting will be around Rs. 34000-39000. There will be some deductions i.e. NPS (National Pension Scheme) around 10% of basic pay+DA.
This basic pay keep on increasing every year. Increments are provided to candidates time to time. Also the candidate is given promotion after few years of service.
If the candidate remain on this post for many years, then his/ her basic pay keep increasing. The last basic pay given will be Rs. 69100 after a predefined years of service on this post.
