MP Police Constable Syllabus 2022 Exam Pattern

Here you can check MPPEB Constable Syllabus 2022 along with exam pattern, selection process etc. details. MPPEB has released Constable advertisement for which selection is to be done through written test, Physical test and Trade/Driving Test.
MP Professional Examination Board has advertised for 4000 posts of Constable (GD) (3862 posts) and Constable (Radio) (138 Posts). Online forms were filled from 24 December, 2020 to 01 January 2021. Check the Other details from below.

Exam Pattern

Marks distribution of paper:
  • Constable (GD): Paper-I – 100 marks
  • Constable (Radio): Paper-II – 100 marks.
The duration of Both papers is 2 hours each.
100 objective type questions are to be asked in MP Police Constable exam. The difficulty level will be 8th class level for Paper 1. For paper 2, difficulty level will be that of required qualification level. Constable GD Paper will have questions from following subjects:
  • General Knowledge and Reasoning: 40 marks
  • Intellectual Ability and Mental Aptitude: 30 marks
  • Science and Simple Arithmetic: 30 marks
Only Constable (Radio) candidates have to give Paper 2 i.e. Technical Paper carrying 100 marks.

Paper-1 (For All Constable posts):

General Knowledge and Reasoning – 40 marks
Main GK of Madhya Pradesh state (History, Geography, Polity, Sports, etc.), Districts, Main Wildlife sanctuary and national park, Rivers, irrigation, Important places, Important persons (Polities, Artists, Sports, Authors etc.), Dances, Crops, Dams, Forts, Palaces, Mausoleum, Tourism, Current Affairs of MP State etc.
India GK: History, Geography, Polity, Sports, Awards, Countries & Capitals, Important days, Innovations, Important organizations, India & Neighboring countries, books & Author, Dances, States, Rivers, Tourism, Famous places, Current affairs etc.
Intellectual Ability and Mental Aptitude – 30 marks

Questions will be asked from analogies, similarities and differences, judgement, decision making, problem solving analysis, visual memory, discrimination, observation, relationships, arithmetical reasoning, Classification, Series (verbal /non-verbal), coding decoding, statement conclusion, spatial visualization, spatial orientation, Embedded Figures, Critical thinking, Emotional & Social Intelligence, Syllogism / Venn Diagrams, Drawing inferences, folding & unfolding Punched hole/pattern, Figural Pattern, Address matching, Matching Date & city , Classification of centre codes/roll numbers, Small & Capital letters/numbers etc..

Science and Simple Arithmetic – 30 marks
Science will include questions from Physics, Chemistry, Biology. General Physics includes questions from Mass, Weight, volume, laws of motion, Gravitation, Temperature, Pressure, Friction, Refection, Refraction, transparency, Force, Sound, light etc. Chemistry Questions includes like Liquids, Solids & Gases, Chemical reaction, Acids & Bases, Salt, Materials: Metals and Non-metals, Micro-organisms, chemical formula balancing and their facts etc. Biology like Human body, Cell, Plant, Animal, Bacteria, Viruses, Diseases & Symptoms etc.
In Simple Arithmetic, Questions will be asked from Area, HCF & LCM, Simplification, Average, Percentage, Profit & Loss, Simple & Compound Interest, Time & Work Problems, Time & Speed, Investment, Age Problems, Graphs (Bar & Pictorial) Pie Chart, Data Interpretation etc.

Paper-2 Syllabus Only for Constable (Radio):

Candidates will also have to appear in Technical Paper along with paper 1. This exam will also be of 100 marks and its syllabus will be as per qualifications mentioned below.
12th with 2 years ITI NCVT / SCVT with any one of Electronics, Computer, Instrument, Information technology, Telecommunication.
OR
3 years diploma in any one of Electronics, Computer, Instrument, Information technology, Telecommunication.
Questions in Paper 2 for Constable Radio posts will be asked from Technical subjects.

MP Police ASI Head Constable Computer Syllabus

These posts vacancies has not been released this year. This paper includes Questions from Computer Networks, Basics of Networking in Computer, Data Structure, Database Management System, MS Office Word Excel Power point, Microsoft OneNote, Microsoft Access, Web, Software, Internet & Technology etc.

Candidates are advised to prepare better with best books available in mark. They should prepare not only from one book but multiple books. Also candidates should practice Previous Years Question papers. This will let them get familiar with type of questions asked in the Constable exam.
