HSSC Constable Syllabus 2022 Exam Pattern

HSSC has advertised Constable vacancies for which selection is to be done through Knowledge test and PET, PST. Here you can check exam pattern and the syllabus of knowledge test (written exam) of Haryana Police Male Constable GD, Female Constable GD, Female Constable (HAP-DURGA-1) and Male Constable in Commando Wing.

Exam Pattern:

The knowledge test (KT) will have 100 objective type questions carrying 0.80 marks each. KT will be of 90 minutes duration. Total marks for the paper is 80. There is no negative marking for wrong answers. The paper is will be available in Hindi and English languages.

Constable (Commando):

The knowledge test (KT) of Commando Constable will have 100 MCQ questions each carrying 0.60 marks. So total marks of the test will be 60 and time given is 90 minutes. No negative marking will be there. The syllabus of All Constable posts is given below.

HSSC Constable Syllabus 2022 of Knowledge Test (Written exam)

Questions are to be asked from following:

General Studies, Agriculture, General Reasoning, Numerical Ability, Animal Husbandry, Current Affairs, Mental Aptitude, General Science, Other Relevant Field / Trade etc. There will be at least 10 questions from Computer. Questions will be of 12th class level.

General Studies:

  • Current events, India and its neighboring countries. Important dates. Full forms
  • History. Geography, Economics, Culture, General Policy & Scientific Research, Sports of Haryana state.
  • Haryana GK & National GK
  • Geography & History of Haryana & India

Agriculture:
This section will have questions on Agriculture Knowledge regarding History/ Facts, Plantation and Deforestation, Soil & Land, Fruits & Vegetable, Irrigation & its process and Damage, Pests Control, Types of Crops, Crop Production, Soil, Fertility, Fertilizing, Horticulture etc.

Animal Husbandry : This includes questions on Animal Nutrition, Animal breeds, importance of animal, Nutritional importance, Dairy, diseases and symptoms in animal, Livestock farming,  etc.

Numerical Ability:

General Science:
This includes principles, scientific methodology, concepts, techniques and Physics, Chemistry, Biology, life sciences, Earth & space sciences, technology & inventions etc.

Computer Knowledge:
Questions will be asked to test basic knowledge of computers. This includes Fundamentals of Computer, Input Output devices, Shortcut keys, MS Office, Internet & Email etc.

The standard of the examination shall be as expected from an educated person having passed 12th class exam of Board of School Education, Haryana.
