Rajasthan Staff Selection Board (RSMSSB) has advertised for 3896 VDO (Gram Vikas Adhikari) posts through advertisement no. 04/2021. Know Rajasthan VDO (Gram Vikas Adhikari) Salary 2024 Pay Scale
During Probationary Period:
When a candidate gets posted as Gram Vikas Adhikari (VDO) in a Rajasthan Government Department, then he/she will be put as probationary trainee for 2 (Two) years period. During this probationary Period, a fixed remuneration of Rs. 15100 (Fifteen Thousand one hundred) per month is given to the candidate.
Other than this Rs. 15100 per month, no allowances i.e. DA HRA etc. will be given during probationary period. However, candidate will be given leaves and other benefits as mentioned in Rajasthan service rules.
Pay Scale and Starting Basic Pay after Probationary Period
After successful completion of 2 years probationary trainee period, Newly appointed candidate on VDO posts gets salary as per Level 6 of Rajasthan 7th pay matrix which corresponds to Pay Band PB-1 Rs. 5200-20200 with grade pay of Rs. 2400.
The Starting basic pay of Rajasthan VDO is Rs. 5200 with grade pay of Rs. 2400 (existing grade pay no. 9A). This equivalents to Rs. 21500 as per 7th Pay Matrix of Rajasthan. Maximum Basic pay of Gram Vikas Adhikari post is Rs. 68000 given after several years of service. But meanwhile candidate gets higher post depending on their qualification and experience.
Salary after Probationary Period
Salary Calculation Formula:
Basic Pay + DA + HRA + Other Allowances (CCA, TA, Special) if applicable = Total Salary
The approximate starting salary of this pay scale is around Rs. 34000-36500 which depends on place of posting and allowances given.
RSMSSB VDO Salary Structure 2024:
- Starting Total Salary of VDO posts in Rajasthan (after 2 years): Around Rs. 34000-36500 per month depending on area of posting and allowances.
- Cash in Hand Salary: Rs. 30800-33300 per month.
Posting can be done in any district city or village in Rajasthan as per department requirement. Upon Joining, Candidate need to provide Bank account details, PRAN no. etc. to the department for getting their salary credited in bank.
Allowances (calculated on basic pay):
Dearness allowance (42%) = Rs. 9030
House Rent Allowance (HRA) (8-16%):
- 16% of Basic pay for Class Y Cities i.e. Jaipur, Bikaner, Ajmer, Kota, Jodhpur = Rs. 3440
- 8% for Other Cities of Rajasthan = Rs. 1720
Compensatory (City) Allowance: Rs. 320-620, if applicable to city of posting.
Special Pay and / or other allowances, if applicable, as per rules of Rajasthan govt.
