Eligibility Criteria:
Age limit:
A candidate should be 21 years as on 01 January 2023 and not above 38 years as on 01 January 2021 (born not earlier than 02.01.1983 and not later than 01.01.2002). Upper age is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST/SEBC/Women/Ex-Servicemen categories and 10 years for Persons with Disabilities category (15 years for SC/ST/SEBC) with 40% or above permanent disability. Educational Qualification:
Candidate should have degree in Engineering in the respective trade or equivalent qualification from a university or institution recognized by the government or He/She should be an Associated Member of the Institution of Engineers of India (AMIE) in Civil / Mechanical.
- For AEE Civil: Degree in Civil Engineering / AMIE
- For AEE Mechanical: Degree in Mechanical Engineering / AMIE
- Candidate should be GATE Quailified with valid score.
Selection Process:
OPSC will shortlist candidates for interview on the basis of GATE Score. The commission will be calling two times the vacancies for interview. Merit list will be prepared on aggregate marks of GATE Score (90% weightage) and interview (10% weightage).
OPSC AEE Pay Scale:
Candidate will be given salary as per Pay Scale of Level 12 of Odisha Pay Matrix (Group A of Odisha Engineering Service) under ORSP Rules-2017. There will be a probation period of two years for these posts for newly joining candidates.

Candidate must go through the details given in advertisement before filling online form. Application can be submitted through OPSC website i.e. opsc.gov.in. Applicants should enter their personal details and upload scanned latest passport size Photograph and Signature and Left Hand Thumb Impression.
On Successful Online registration, a unique Permanent Public Service Account Number (PPSAN) will be assigned to the candidate. He / She should take printout of the finally submitted online registration and form and put his / her signature under the declaration for submission to OPSC when asked.
