1. Computer Operator Grade A
- Unreserved: 381 Posts
- Other Backward Class (OBC): 249 Posts
- Economically Weaker Section (EWS): 91 Posts
- Scheduled Castes (SC): 193 Posts
- Scheduled Tribes (ST): 16 Posts
2. Programmer Grade 2
- Unreserved: 24 Posts
- Other Backward Class (OBC): 14 Posts
- Economically Weaker Section (EWS): 5 Posts
- Scheduled Castes (SC): 11 Posts
- Scheduled Tribes (ST): 1 Post
Eligibility Criteria of UP Police Computer Operator & Programmer Recruitment 2024:
Age limit:
For Computer Operator Posts: Candidate’s age should be between 18 to 28 years as on 01 July 2023 (born not before 01 July 1995 and not after 01 July 2005).
For Programmer Posts: Candidate’s age should be between 21 to 30 years as on 01 July 2023 (born not before 01 July 1993 and not after 01 July 2002).
Upper relaxation is applicable for SC/ST/OBC categories as per Uttar Pradesh Government rules.
Educational Qualification:
1. For Computer Operator Posts: Candidate should have done 10+2 / Intermediate with Physics and Mathematics Subjects
and
passed DOEACC O Level exam or equivalent.
OR
have Diploma in Computer Engineering / Information Technology / Electronics Engineering.
2. For Programmer Posts: Candidate should have done bachelor’s degree in any Stream or equivalent
and
passed DOEACC “A” Level Exam or equivalent.
OR
have bachelor’s degree in science (Computer Science / IT / Electronics) and PGDCA or equivalent.

Selection Procedure:
Online Written examination of objective type carrying 200 marks will be conducted for both posts separately. The papers will have 160 questions each of 1.25 marks. The duration of Computer operator examination will be 2 hours while Programmer exam will be of 2 hours 30 minutes duration.
Application fee: Rs. 400/- for all categories.
