Born between 01 January 1982 and 01 January 2001 for unreserved i.e. 20-39 years for unreserved.

upper age relaxation of reserved categories as per rules (3 years for OBC/OBC-A/OBC-B and 5 years for SC/ST/PWD) i.e. 20-42 years for OBC categories and 20-44 years for SC/ST/PWD.

Educational Qualifications:
For GNM vacancies: Candidate should have passed General Nursing and Midwifery/ Basic B. Sc. (Nursing)/ Post Basic B.Sc. (Nursing) course from any Nursing Training School/ College of Nursing recognized by both Indian Nursing Council and respective State Nursing Council. Also candidate should have Registration certificate from West Bengal Nursing council and Knowledge of Bengali/Nepali- Spoken and written.
For B.Sc. Nursing / post-basic nursing:
Essential: B.Sc. Nursing / post-basic nursing
Desirable: M.Sc. Nursing / Diploma / Training/CNE/Publication/Award
