Assistant Commandant:
Pay Scale: Level 10 Rs. 56100/- Pre revised scale of Rs. 15600-39100 plus GP 5400/- as per 7th CPC.
BSF Salary 2024 of Constable posts:
Pay Scale: Level 3 in Pay Matrix Rs. 21700-69100 as per 7th CPC
For new appointments, the starting BSF salary of Constable Posts should be around Rs. 34900-38300 per month at 46% D.A.. The basic pay for these posts is Rs. 21700. Then various allowances such as Dearness allowance, Medical Allowance, Risk allowance, Conveyance allowance etc. are added to basic pay to calculate gross salary / income. To apply for constable posts in BSF, a candidate has to be between the age of 18 and 23 years and Matriculation and/or other requirements as in advertisement.
Candidates are required to have physical standards as well as visual standards as mentioned in the notification. They have to qualify PET,PST, Documentation, Written test and trade test followed by medical examination in order to be selected. After appointment, they gets salary as per pay scale mentioned above.
BSF Salary of Sub Inspector:
The starting basic pay of Sub Inspector posts is Rs. 35400. After the addition of various allowances, the approx. Starting Total salary of Sub Inspector should be around 55900-62100 at current 46% Dearness Allowance (applicable from July 2023) depending on what allowances are given.
Inspector Draftsman (Grade 1)
The pay scale of these posts is Level 7 in Pay Matrix Rs. 44900-142400 as per 7th CPC.
Sub Inspector (Works):
This post is of Pay Scale Level 6 in Pay Matrix Rs. 35400-112400 as per 7th CPC.
BSF Salary 2024 of Head Constable:
The Pay scale of Head Constable posts in BSF is Rs. 25500-81100 (Level 4 in Pay Matrix) as per 7th CPC. The starting salary should be around Rs. 39500-45500 per month.
