Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has successfully conducted mains written examination for Lecturer in Government Inter Colleges on 13.03.2022. Now results of Main exam has been declared. UPPSC has released the Result of GIC Lecturer exam on its website uppsc.up.nic.in. Those candidates who has appeared for the exam, can check their qualifying status from link given here.
Various Subject Lecturer Posts Final Result has been declared. Earlier GIC lecturer main exam was held on 13 March 2022 and Pre exam on 19.09.2021. Written Exam Result of GIC Pravakta has been declared on 07 June 2022. We have posted latest news regarding UP GIC result 2022 here as it comes.
On the basis of Preliminary examination result, UPPSC will call thirteen times candidates to the number of vacancies for the main examination. Those who clear Main exam, will be selected for the posts.
Selection of candidate in GIC lecturer recruitment of UPPSC consist of Preliminary and Main exams. Preliminary written test consist of 120 objective type questions from which 40 Questions are to be asked from General Studies and 80 from related subject. Pre exam will be of 300 marks with duration of 2 hours.
Minimum qualifying marks:
- 35% for SC & ST Categories
- 40% for other categories

Earlier UPPSC has advertised for 1473 posts of Lecturer in Government Inter Colleges (GIC) through Advt A-3/E-1/2020 out of which 991 vacancies are for Male branch and 482 vacancies are for Female branch. UPPSC conducted Preliminary examination for selecting suitable candidates for admission to the Lecturer (Male/Female) Government Inter College Main (Written) Examination 2020. The criteria of selection consist of total marks obtained by the candidates in written examination.
