ICAR Assistant Admit card 2022 IARI Roll No.

Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI) has issued a job notification for filling the vacancies of 462 Assistant posts at ICAR Headquarters and Research Institutes on 06 May 2022. IARI will conduct competitive examination (online computer-based test (CBT)) for Direct Recruitment of Assistants on 29 July 2022.

These 462 Assistant posts includes 391 posts of ICAR Institutes and 71 Posts of ICAR HQ. Interested and Eligible candidates filled online form from 07 May 2022 to 21 June 2022. Other details like Eligibility criteria, age limit, qualification, selection process, examination fee are given below.

Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit: Candidates age limit should between 20 to 40 years as on 1st June, 2022. Age relaxation is applicable as per Rules.

Maximum 45 years for Serving regular employees of ICAR
Maximum 33 years for OBC category
Maximum 35 years for SC/ST category
Maximum 40 years for Persons with Benchmark Disability (PwBD) Unreserved category (45 years for PH reserved category)

Educational Qualification:

Applicant should have Graduation / Bachelor’s degree from recognized university.

Selection process: Preliminary and Main Written exam and Skill test

There will be preliminary and main written exam for Assistant Posts. ICAR Assistant Grade (Preliminary) Examination will consist of 100 Objective questions of 200 marks and 1 hour duration. Main exam will have paper 1 objective exam (150 questions, 200 marks, 2 hours duration) and paper 2 descriptive exam (100 marks, 1 hour duration). Negative marking of 1/3 will be applicable in paper 1 of main exam.
