Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) is responsible for coordinating agricultural education and research in India. Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI) has advertised for 641 posts of Technician (T-1) under Direct Recruitment at ICAR Research Institutes.
Among these 641 posts, 286 posts are of unreserved, 61 posts are of EWS, 93 Posts are of SC, 68 posts are of ST and 133 posts are of OBC NCL category. Educational Qualification of candidate need to be 10th pass from recognized board.
Selection of candidates is to be done through 100 marks objective type written exam to be held online.
IARI ICAR Technician Salary 2024 per month & Pay Scale
Training Period:
After selection to these posts, candidates will be put under training period of one year. During this period, they will be called as Technical Trainee. During training, they can avail Institute facilities like transport/canteen/dispensary/library etc. but not any kind of leave.
Regular appointment will only be done if candidate successfully complete training period. Training period can be extended up to 6 month maximum. Candidate will be provided stipend during training as per rules.
ICAR Technician Pay Scale
After training, they will be put as Technician T-1 and given pay scale level 3 in 7th CPC pay matrix i.e. Rs. 21700-69100. This pay scale is equivalent to 5200-20200 Grade Pay 2400. Starting basic pay under this scale is Rs. 21700 per month.
Various allowances like Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance (HRA) will be added to this basic pay to find out total salary.
