ICAR Assistant Salary 2024 IARI Pay Scale at HQ / Institutes

Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI) has released advertisement for 462 posts of Assistant for ICAR HQ and Institutes. Candidate need to be graduate from a recognized university and 20-30 years of age (for unreserved) to apply for these posts.

Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) is an ISO 9001:2015 certified institute responsible for coordinating agricultural education and research in India. IARI has 20 divisions 5 multi-disciplinary Centres situated in Delhi. Also it has 8 regional stations, 2 off-season nurseries, 3 All India coordinated research projects with headquarters at IARI and 10 national Centres functioning under the all India coordinated research projects.

As mentioned in advertisement, newly appointed candidates, after training / probation are to be given pay scale level 7 of 7th Pay matrix (Rs. 9300-34800 Grade Pay Rs. 4600) for those posted at ICAR headquarters. The pay scale of those posted at ICAR institutes will be 7th pay matrix level 6 (Rs. 9300-34800 Grade Pay Rs. 4200).

Starting basic pay of Assistant at ICAR headquarters is Rs. 44900 per month while Starting basic pay of Assistant at ICAR Institutes is Rs. 35400 per month. Dearness Allowance (DA): 46% of basic pay applicable from July 2023
