Indian Govt has approved Agnipath Scheme for youth to serve in Armed Forces for 4 years period (Indian Army, Indian Navy, Indian Air Force). Young candidates selected under this Agnipath Recruitment Scheme will be called ‘Agniveers’. Total 46000 Agniveers are to be recruited in 2022 year by Armed Forces.
Agniveer Salary in Indian Air Force (IAF), Army, Navy under Agnipath Scheme

- Total Salary per month: Rs. 30000
- In Hand Salary per month in 1st year (70% of total salary): Rs. 21000
- Contribution to Agniveer Corpus Fund (30% from total salary): Rs. 9000

2nd Year of service:

- Total Contribution to Agniveer Corpus Fund from candidate total salary: Rs. 5.02 Lakh

- Total Sevanidhi Package amount to be given to candidate when exit after 4 years service: Rs. 11.71 Lakh
Sevanidhi Package:
A total of 11.71 lakh rupees is to be given (one time) to candidate after exit when 4 years service ends. This also includes interest accumulated on the amount. This package will be exempted from income tax.
Benefits:
- Candidate will be covered under Rs. 48 Lakh non-contributory Life Insurance Cover during service.
- Rs. 11.71 Lakh as sevanidhi package after exit from service (no income tax deducted).
- 25% of Agniveers will be enrolled in regular cadre of service.
- Risk and Hardship Allowance, Ration, Dress and Travel allowances as applicable
- 30 Days Leaves
- Medical facility
- Canteen Facility
Agniveer Pay is a composite package. Candidates will be entitled for Risk and Hardship Allowance, Ration, Dress and Travel allowances as applicable. However No Dearness Allowance (DA) or Military Service Pay (MSP) will be applicable. There will be no pension to be given after service.
