These are district cadre posts which means, after selection, candidate can be posted and transferred within the district concerned.
Eligibility Criteria of OSSSC Recruitment 2023-24 for MPHW & Pharmacist:
Age limit:
- For Pharmacist: 21-38 years as on 15.12.2023
- For MPHW Male: 21-38 years as on 01 January 2023.

Educational Qualifications:
- Pharmacist: +2 with Science or equivalent and Diploma in Pharmacy / B.Pharma from Govt / Private Medical College / Hospital
- MPHW Male: +2 with Science or equivalent and Diploma in Pharmacy
+2 should be under council of Higher Education Odisha or equivalent and D.Pharmacy should be institution recognized by AICTE / Pharmacy Council of India / Odisha Pharmacy board.

Selection Criteria:
A Written Exam (MCQ type in OMR System or CBRT mode) of 100 marks in one paper will be conducted for this OSSSC Recruitment 2023-24. It will have 100 questions to be solved in 2 hours time. The syllabus and subjects of this written test will be as per syllabus of Diploma in Pharmacy. For wrong answers, 0.25 marks will be deducted and for correct answer, one mark is to be given.
Minimum Qualifying marks:
- 30% for SC/ST/PwD/Ex-Servicemen/Sportsperson categories
- 35% for other candidates
Pay Scale:
- Pharmacist: 25500-81100 Pay Matrix level 7 Cell-01
- MPHW: 21700-69100 Pay Matrix Level 5 Cell-01
