ALM Salary in Punjab:
The Pay scale of Assistant Lineman posts as mentioned in PSTCL CRA 07/2020, should not exceed the pay scale admissible to the said cadre in Government of India 7th Central Pay commission (CPC). Earlier Pay Scale mentioned in PSPCL CRA 295/19 was 6400-20200 + 3400 Grade Pay. You can check more details from below.
PSPCL ALM Salary and Pay Scale:
The minimum pay admissible as per 7th pay commission to Assistant Lineman in PSPCL Advt 299/22 is Rs. 19900. During 3 years Probationary period, candidate will be given no allowances (except TA and Medical reimbursement). After probation period, candidate will be given salary as per this Rs. 19900 Pay Scale with all allowances (DA, HRA etc.).

ALM Salary in Haryana:
For newly joining candidates, the Pay Scale of Assistant Lineman in Haryana is Rs. 25500 plus allowances (equivalent to Rs. 5200-20200 with Grade Pay of Rs. 2400/- Revised Pay Scale Rs.
25500 – 81100 in pay matrix Level-4). According to this pay scale, the starting basic pay is Rs. 25500. The basic pay is revised every year with 3% increment till it reaches Rs. 81100/- which is maximum on this post.

Total salary comes after addition of various allowances to basic pay i.e. Basic Pay+ DA+HRA+TA+ Washing allowance + Medical allowance + other allowances.
Assistant Lineman Salary in Haryana:
- Pay Scale: Rs. 25500 – 81100
- Starting Total Salary after adding all allowances: Approx. 35000-41000 per month
- Deductions: NPS (10% of basic pay) + Income tax etc. i.e. approx. 3000-3200
- Net Cash in Hand Salary (Starting) after deductions: Rs. 32000-38000 per month
Allowance Rates:
HRA is 8% and 16% of basic pay depending on posting class of city.
DA is 34% of basic pay from January 2022 in Haryana. It gets revision by the government every six months to adjust to inflation.
Other Allowances includes Washing and Uniform allowance, Medical Allowance etc. whose valued differs from state to state. Allowance rates depends on state.
