A newly joining candidates will be placed in the pay scale of 23500-550-24600-600-27000-650-29600-750-32600-850-36000-950-39800-1100-46400-1250-47650.

The starting total salary on the basis of this pay scale is around Rs. 37000-39000. This depends on allowances given by Police department and place of posting in the state. Allowances includes Dearness Allowance, HRA, Hardship Allowance etc.
