After probationary trainee period of 2 years, Newly appointed candidate on the post of constable gets placed in Level 5 (L-5) of pay matrix which corresponds to Pay Band PB-1 Rs. 5200-20200 with grade pay of Rs. 2400.
The basic pay of Rajasthan Police Constable is Rs. 5200 and grade pay is Rs. 2400. The last grade pay after several years of service on this post is Rs. 20200. But before that, many candidates get promoted to higher post depending on qualification and experience.
The starting basic pay in Rajasthan Pay Matrix Level L-5 is Rs. 20800.

On the basis of this pay scale, the approximate salary of Constable in Rajasthan Police will be around Rs. 30800-32800. This salary increase / decrease depending on place of posting and allowances given. Also candidates get National Pension Scheme.
After addition of all allowances, Salary of Rajasthan Police Constable after training will be as follows:
- Starting Total Salary (after 2 years): Around Rs. 30800-32800 per month depending on area of posting and allowances.
