Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) had advertised for 7298 Constable (Male and Female) posts. 12th pass candidates who fulfills the physical requirements can apply for Constable posts. Candidates will be selected through an 80 marks knowledge test and physical test followed by Document verification and Medical Exam.
Haryana Police Constable Salary 2024 (Total and In Hand) Pay Allowances Promotions
When a candidate gets selected as constable in Haryana police, then the candidate gets placed in 7th pay scale of Rs. 21700-69100 – Level-3, Cell-I. This corresponds to Pay Band PB-1 Rs. 5200-20200 with grade pay of Rs. 2000 of 6th CPC.
The starting basic pay of Haryana Police Constable is Rs. 21700. After several years of service on this post, the grade pay on this post gets increased to Rs. 69100. This is the last pay scale given on this post but promotion is given after some years of service which depends on qualification and experience.
Note: This pay scale and salary is also applicable for Constable in Commando wing.
Haryana Police Constable Salary 2024 per month:
On the basis of this pay scale, the approximate Total Salary of Constable in Haryana Police will be around Rs. 37000-38800. This amount of salary depends on place of posting and allowances given. For Example, Minimum House Rant Allowance rate is Rs. 3600 for Chandigarh, Panchkula, Gurugram and Faridabad cities. Minimum HRA for other districts is Rs. 1800.
After addition of all allowances, Salary of Haryana Constable will be as follows:
- Starting Total Salary: Around Rs. 37000-38800 per month depending on area of posting and allowances.
- Deductions: NPS @ 10% of Basic pay and other Taxes i.e. Around Rs. 3000
- Net in Hand Salary per month: Rs. 34000-35800.
Posting of Constables anywhere in Haryana. Candidates will get Salary in their bank account after the month work. For getting salary in their bank account, Candidate have to provide their bank account details, PRAN no. for NPS etc. information.

Promotions:
After some years of services, Constable gets promoted to Head Constable, then ASI, SI and Inspector. This depends on candidate’s qualification and experience.
